Master Chef Franco Lania will be a guest chef/speaker at a Pegler Series Event at the Institute of Culinary Arts, in Omaha, Nebraska. Chef Franco’s culinary expertise has brought him to the stoves of many highly-acclaimed restaurants in the United States, Europe as well as on luxury cruise lines. He will offer a five-course Italian food and wine degustation, “Mastering Italian Classics with chef Franco Lania”, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 6-9 p.m., at the Metropolitan Community College’s Institute of Culinary Arts, Fort Omaha Campus.
The event, which is open to the public, features a demonstration from Lania for each course as the guests enjoy food and wine parings.
The cost for this special dinner is $55 per person. This event is filling up fast!
In conjunction with chef Franco’s visit, MCC culinary arts students will receive instruction from him on the Italian menu offerings and assist with food preparation for the event.
Lania coined the philosophy, “As you design your dish and your meals, you can design your life.”
The chef’s visit is part of the Institute of Culinary Art’s Pegler Series. The Pegler Series is dedicated to bringing noted culinary arts experts to MCC to share their experiences and expertise with the students and the public.
