Kvarter5 | Hotel Pommern, Marieheim
This past April I was invited back for a chef event with the Ålandhotels Group in their Kvarter5 restaurant located in their Hotel Pommern.
This newly-renovated hotel is only a few steps away from the town center of Mariehamn, the capital port town of the Åland Islands. In this clip, I am standing on Torggatan with the town behind me.
These islands are technically a territory of Finland though they have complete autonomy. The first language here is Swedish due to the fact these islands were once ruled by and due to their close proximity to Sweden.
