Hello friends! I am very happy to introduce to you the new TAVOLA TOURS website. As many of you may already know, I have been working with a dedicated team of travel professionals to create a one-of-a-kind boutique travel company in Italy. Our focus is on culinary and cultural adventures to satisfy the appetites of both foodies and history enthusiasts alike. Please have a look at our new website and kindly share it with your travel-minded friends and family, too. I hope you can join us on an upcoming adventure.
Amalfi Coast
Speaking of upcoming adventures, this April we have a beautiful trip heading out to Campania. Our home base for the trip will be the Cilento area, the home of the Mediterranean Diet. This area is a perfect place to call our home-away from home for the duration of the trip. While in Cilento we will explore the immediate treasures of the area, such as the ancient Greek town of Paestum with its three magnificent and well-preserved temples. Also, we will be attending a mozzarella-making class where all guests will get a chance to learn from a local expert and make their very own MOZZARELLA.
Cooking classes with locals to learn their secrets!
Additionally, there will be a pasta- and pizza- making class where guests will work alongside local artisans. To make things even more efficient and fun, we will have a translator with us who will explain clearly what the cooking instructor is saying, enabling you to learn quickly and ask questions as the class moves along. The whole idea during these special cooking classes (and take this advice from a chef) is to keep an eye on the assembling and cooking techniques. That’s where the secret cooking tips are and that’s what you’ll benefit greatly from. Once you have picked up on certain techniques from a master cook/chef, you are well on your way to making some delicious dishes for your friends and family once you return home. And of course while in the Campania area, we will also have some fantastic guided excursions to Amalfi, Pompeii, Ravello, Vietri, Naples, Capri, Villa Cimbrone, and much more. You can see the complete and exciting itinerary (in a PDF file) for the upcoming adventure to Campania here.
Also, if you haven’t checked out TAVOLA TOURS on Facebook, please do so. You can follow along on Facebook and see all the fun (delicious) photos and current videos during this April adventure, as we taste and explore our way through Campania, Italy.
I hope you enjoy our new travel site, and I look forward to seeing you soon on an upcoming adventure.
