Yes, food friends this is ineradicable! What a great find  in Salerno, Italy, a bell-shaped SFOGLIATELLA.  The Italian name for this heavenly delicacy is sfogliacampanella. Basically it is a sfogliatella shaped as a bell. Now for the delicious part! There are several different kinds such as dark chocolate, white chocolate, coffee, pistachio, orange, lemon and more. Can you hear the angles sing? 

The one I tried was filled with an amazing lemon cream and a nice luscious piece of rum baba.  Apparently, these sfogliacampanella originated in the city of Naples, and are now becoming very popular in Italy.  It’s not surprising at all since they are absolutely beautiful and very delicious.  If ever you are in the Naples or Sorrento area you must seek out and try a decadent sfogliacampanella.  It just might ring your bell!
