My new cruise ship deployment has officially been issued. This summer I’ll be working as a chef de cuisine for an ultra-luxury cruise company. Their culinary program is considered the best at sea and rivals any high-end trendy restaurant on land. Once I am officially on board I will announce on my Facebook page the name of this prestigious company.
There are many cruise lines out there that do a fantastic job. However, there are only a select few that are ultra-elite and in a class all by themselves. My new deployment is with a company that is part of a very select group known for their all-inclusive luxury cruises. So as to not yet give it away I can say that these special luxury brands consist of Oceania Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Regent Seven Seas, Silversea Cruises, and Seabourn Cruise Line. One of these top-of-the-line companies will be where I’ll be working.
I made a quick video on my Facebook page the other day briefly talking about this new voyage and the beautiful countries that will be visited. The entire itinerary is great! But the one thing that I am looking forward to seeing is the magnificent fjords of Norway that were carved out by the last ice age that only ended about 20 to 25 thousand years ago. That’s pretty amazing!
So, click the video below to learn more about this next culinary assignment and the travel itinerary. The best time to see these far northern countries of Europe is in the summertime since it’s the land of the midnight sun and the cold winter weather has passed.
