Quest for Santa Claus at the Arctic Circle!

Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi, Finland”.

Yes! Santa Claus’s real home base is located at: ” Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, Finland”.

 This trip will go from Dec. 21st to Dec. 26th. The best part is that Christmas will be spent in Santa Village! The question that remains is: will Santa Claus be there? It’s a pretty big job to travel all around the world in one night (Dec. 24th.) and still be get home by Christmas day!

Well, my daughter and I intend to find out and we invite you to follow along.

 

On a culinary note, Rovaniemi is in Finnish Lapland. Here they have a very different food culture than what most of us are accustom to.

So, in between searching for Santa and Rudolph the “red-nosed” reindeer, I’ll be sharing some insight on the indigenous foods of this area. This should get very interesting!
