Here is a big shout out to all my local friends in New Jersey. Prince’s Farm Stand (yes, the one we all knew growing up in Springfield, New Jersey) is now back after many years.  The new location is 1123 Mountain Avenue, Mountainside next to Vine Republic and across the street from Echo Lake Park. Heather Prince Murphy has designed a fantastic space that incorporates some old memorabilia of her family’s journey, and continues into what is now a bright, airy and very welcoming farm stand.   They will carry a vast array of fresh produce, dairy, vegetarian and specialty items that are all from local sources.  It’s really a great place to shop.  The fruit and vegetable choices are increasing every day and the specialty items are flying off the shelves.

I met with Heather a few months ago and I’m excited to say that things are about to get a little WILD at the new Prince’s Farm Stand- Heather will be carrying my product!  Oh, yes.  My Wild Rice Griddle Cakes, as seen on Good Day PA, PA LIVE, FOX 43, and ABC27 will now be available locally.

Wild Rice Griddle Cake- yogurt, mixed berries and fruits, with a honey drizzle.

Next Saturday (June 24th) will be the official GRAND OPENING!  I will be there, front and center, cooking up my Wild Rice Griddle Cakes for all to taste.  Heather has several other brands that will be sampling their fabulous foods, too.

So, definitely come on down! Heather and her family are welcoming the entire community.  And don’t forget to stop by and say hi to me over at the WILD RICE GRIDDLE CAKE table. I’ll be cooking several varieties and explaining many different ways that you can cook with them and incorporate many of the foods right from Prince’s Farm Stand.
