I am very excited to announce that, this October, I will be giving five hands-on instructional classes at Aromi Magazine’s professional kitchen in Helsinki, Finland. These classes are for “foodies” of all levels who are looking to learn new recipes in a fun, yet educational way.
Things are heating up this June. We are heading into New York City with the rest of the food world to gear up for the annual Summer Fancy Food Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, sponsored by the country of Tunisia.
My message of cooking as a form of pleasant therapy is a friendly reminder to view your stove as an old friend who is always there to give a warm embrace.

SMSU’s Gala Ball had a very special auction this year. One of the grand prizes was an interactive dinner prepared by chef Franco Lania and the school’s Culinology students. This was a fun and educational event for all!
Grand Diplôme alumna Franco Lania will present a cooking demo in which he will share some of his inspirational recipes as well as enlightening the students about his journey as a chef since graduating from Le Cordon Bleu London.
